| A distinguished educator, Elizabeth M. Caporal, retired as a Supervisor in the Republic of the Philippines' Department of Education, Culture and Sports. Prior to that, she was a General Education Supervisor and Division Supervisor in charge of public and private secondary schools for the province of Palawan. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Teaching (Reading). |
| Mrs. Fernandez has deep Cuyonon roots and has distinguished herself as an educator. She has long been involved in the research, preservation and promotion of Cuyonon culture. A composer of Cuyonon songs, she currently resides in Puerto Princesa City. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Education, DECS, Division Music & Arts Supervisor, Bureau of Public Schools. |
| FLOR V. DANGAN Associate Professor, Palawan State University District Supervisor, Department of Education, Culture & Sports, San Jose, Puerto Princesa City Flor Dangan's commitment to the preservation and promotion of Cuyonon language and culture is demonstrated by her master's thesis comparing Filipino and Cuyonon cognates. |

| "Buddy", to his family and friends, is a decorated Coast Guard Officer with the rank of District Commodore 4 in the Coast Guard District Auxiliary. He is a commercial aviation pilot, a major stockholder of a mining corporation, and a rancher. His father, Dr. Higinio Mendoza, the governor of Palawan at the outbreak of World War Two, was martyred by the Japanese. A composer of Cuyonon songs and poetry, a veritable encyclopedia of Cuyonon humor, Buddy is an active leader in several Cuyonon activities. |

| Mrs. Pediapco was an outstanding teacher in Cuyo. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Santo Tomas as well as a Master's degree. She taught at St. Joseph Academy, then at Cuyo High School and became Head of the Related Subjects Department, when the school was converted to Palawan School of Arts and Trades. She has since retired. Among her students were Gov. Salvador Socrates and Congressman Brown Sandoval. Mrs. Pediapco has continued her family's tradition of service and achievement. Her aunt, Trinidad Fernandez Legarda, was the first Philippine woman ambassador, and her mother, Rosa Fernandez Guardiano was Mayor of Cuyo just after World War II. She made tremendous contribution in facilitating the taping of many resource people in Cuyo. She also made several tape recordings on subjects she had expertise in. |

| We celebrate their lives even as we mourn their passing away. They were original members of the Cuyonon Advisory Panel from the beginning. Their contribution to the project is invaluable. Their exemplary lives will always be remembered fondly, as well as their love of Cuyonon and the goals they shared with CLCP. Their physical presence will be missed greatly, but we will always think of them as members of the panel. |

CLCP, INC. is honored and proud to have as members of the Cuyonon Advisory Panel, these distinguished Cuyonons who have individually demonstrated their love and pride in being Cuyonon, and have undertaken individual effort in promoting, preserving and documenting the Cuyonon language and culture, paralleling the goals of CLCP as stated in its Mission Statement, even before CLCP, INC. was launched. |
